We had a great experience, starting from the service to the food. Our host was very professional, accommodating, and knowledgable. The food arrived in good order and was good quality. We definitely recommend this restaurant, even without a discount it's still worth it.

terrace spot at sunset. good house wine. blini smoked salmon and mackarel mousse was perfect, but no caviar as foretold. duck black garlic and veil roulleax were perfect. excellent bok beer on tap.

Deer carpaccio good! Nicely presented Steak tartare meh. Too course yet too pasted with chunks. Veil and beef roll excellent! Very nice beef in bacon Duck black garlic excellent! Excellent tame duck breast in good sauce with great rosti Plaque with hazelnutcreme and tinkabean ice not as expected, the creme was chocolate and the plaque was sand cookie and not almond. Tonka bean ice is very good!

We will be back! Excellent french cuisine. Cheap drink prices! Excellent service onsite. We received the wrong order due to a misunderstanding. We ordered a chefs menu cold starter. Which we had but also delivered chef main course. They deducted the price of our other order. We only paid for the chefs main. Good resolution! Will be back. Excellent spot in town. Nice atmosphere. Deer carpaccio with forest mushrooms truffelmayo. (Sweet patato overpowers deer meat. Otherwise excellent!) Duck black garlic. (Excellent!) Chefs Fish trio had a dissapointing tarragon sauce. I love tarragon! beef rouleau (Superb!!!) Chefs menu guineau fowl rouleau (good!) Not ordered. We will be back! Excellent french cuisine. Cheap drink prices! Terrace was closed, no outdoor smoking option. For the 2nd time i tripped and fell of their large curb to rain drain street gap. Be carefull! Just a inch or three too deep.

Service was slow regardless of having 4+ waiters due to food wait time. Excellent location. Looks very modernized and cozy. The starters were dissapointing. The carpaccio wss overshadowed by a strong tasting sauce thats seemed storebought. Parmesano was dull and light. Beef was ok. Rocette was good. The beef tataki was a small portion but came in an excellent sauce that was freshly made. Looks bland but the beef was ok. Was definitely cooked earlyer and stored cooled. A hint of cooler fresh fish was in my beef. Main courses were small but better then the starters. The duck was the best one we had. Tame duck but a full big breast fillet on a small cake with sauce. Served with asparagus. My guest found the ribeye excellent which was presented sliced and tasted oven roasted. It came atop "a carrot and mashes potato" the deer stew was a letdown. Dry and overcooked. Seasoned in cinnamon to a point that id not recognize deer. Served on a tasteless biscuit. Good bacon on potato and sprouts

Service was a bit slow. Had to ask for some things twice. Personnel wasn't proactively walking around or inquiring whether they could assist. They were friendly and accommodating once asked, tho. Ambiance was fine. It's a cozy setting, but with just enough room between guests. Quality of food was mixed. Entrees were fine, main course was a bit colder than ideal.

We enjoyed our meal in this charming restaurant. The food was good, well prepared and well presented. Service was very friendly and efficient. Lovely location with a waterside terrace. Parking a bit of a squeeze. Recommend you park in the wider streets and walk the last bit.

Extensive menu for lunch available, plenty of gluten-free options. Gluten-free bread was available although it was very basic. Venison meat was cooked perfectly, the sauce was a bit weak and watery. Gluten-free bouillabaisse was a treat, it was a pity that is was served not hot enough. Beautiful location in old Maarssen.
