5.5/10The food was mediocre. There was no energy in the atmosphere. The staff did their job but were not efficient and didn’t give one the feeling that they were enjoying and willing to do more than just their job. A pity because with a few adjustments and training the place has potential to be wow and vibrant.

9/10You get to sit and soak the authentic south indian ambience, appreciate the wide variety of south indian dishes in a big heavy menu book and then place an order and finally enjoy the food served in nice cutlery. All in all fantastic south indian cuisine based experience. I though would not say the same for the north indian dishes on the menu.

10/10The food is delicious and very well presented. And the ambiance is aesthetically pleasing. Overall an amazing experience. The only feedback I have is no one asks or brings drinking water to the table. I had to ask. I will come again.

10/10I was able to celebrate my birthday here with 15 of my guests. This was no problem at all. Everyone of my guests enjoyed the food, service and ambience. I would therefore also like to thank The Madras Diaries management and staff for this!
