8 course tasting menu with wine pairings beautifully presented! Mediterranean Bass tartar with Coteaux du Cap Corse, and Lamb from Alpilles with Arbois, Trousseau des Corvees were amazing!

We spent part of our honeymoon at the Negresco in 1968. This was the first chance we had to revisit our favorite hotel in Nice.

The tenderness of the lobster is impeccable

We’ve been to many Michelin starred restaurants but this was so far and above any other experience in terms of service. The food is incredible but the entire staff is so uniquely warm and welcoming that it really sets this restaurant apart.

The service was impeccable, just outstanding. The amuse bouches and first course were delightful and fresh, lots of green flavors that worked perfectly. The later course were a bit hit or miss. The mushroom dish was a bit muddy and inelegant. The mackerel was good but the Jersey beef dish with the silver beet was very disappointing. The strawberry dessert was just weird, the chef seemed to be trying to do something innovative but it didn’t really come together for me. I would be more forgiving if the price wasn’t so high. The hotel and the restaurant are stunning but I ended up feeling a bit disappointed with the food.

service and ambiance were great. Food and wine were not!! Wine pairing was terrible, very recent vintages, mostly corsican wines, basic level bordeaux, 10 year old tawnies… would never pay to drink these wines. Deeply dissapointed. The first 2 dishes were cold, salty and unelegant mussel dish, and the second dish was this cold vegetarian dish, that seemed easy to remove from the fridge and serve. I did not know how to say, scratch all this and let me order a la carte and select my own wine from the wine menu. Spent a lot of money for just service and ambiance. Would never return. They should have the michellin removed. Not to par.

Very good tasting and imaginative food. Top notch service by the waiting staff. The interior decor and music creates a perfect classic atmosphere.

Incredible dining experience. The 8-act tasting menu was better than advertised. The chef’s artistic presentations were outmatched only by the quality of the ingredients utilized during the meal (most of which were locally-sourced) and the unique flavors we experienced. While the food was experiential in and of itself, it was the staff that made our night. The staff took great pains to ensure that we were treated like the guests of honor while simultaneously ensuring a comfortable and familial environment that we were not accustomed to experiencing at restaurants of this quality. Overall, could not ask for a better experience.

My waiter …. I think his name was Ricardo was very attentive and very charming. The ambience and the food was incredible! The dishes were beautiful to look at and delighted my taste buds

Dario did a fantastic job as our waiter, the food was cooked perfectly, and we were attended to at every moment. We would definitely go back again.

This wasn't our first time dining at a Michelin-starred restaurant, but unfortunately, it fell below our expectations. The menu, particularly the à la carte options, wasn't explained at all. The appetizers were too salty, and my husband had to wait 20 minutes for his cocktail. Overall, it did not live up to the Michelin star standard.

We arrived from the States at 9 AM; after cruising the promenade and relaxing at the Negresco Beach Club, Le Chantecler was our first meal on a two-week trip to France and Italy. Dario was our server, and he was excellent; the entire team puts so much effort into the smallest details; I’ve never experienced finer service. We did the eight-course tasting menu and loved it. There was a cucumber and peach salad that might be one of the simplest and most delicious starters I’ve ever had. We stayed late and made friends with our table neighbors, overall a tremendous experience and a great way to hit the ground running in Europe!
