We almost canceled our reservation at Le Riad after a full day of champagne tasting and a hearty lunch. We are glad we didn't. Service was welcoming, helpful, and just the right amount of attentive. The small restaurant provided great ambience to enjoy a fantastic dinner. The star was the food. The only disappointment was we couldn't try more on the menu - for another time. We did enjoy their appetizer trio , lamb brochette, and their chicken couscous. All flavorful and well-prepared. Highly recommend.

Our tagline and cous cous royal were delicious- beautifully seasoned and the meats were so tender. The restaurant was very busy however the staff were attentive and friendly. Would highly recommend.

The food was excellent. Took too long to come out and some people who came after us got their food long before us. The service was friendly but slow and forgetful. We had to remind them about the water, and when it arrived, it was a wrong order. They did took care of it without any issue once I pointed it out. One appetizer was served late, arriving with the main course, and all plates were missing. I’m not sure why they cleared them away just as we began ordering. But food was great.

The reviews are impressive and we were so excited to try this restaurant. The food did meet the reviews. The food came out boiling hot. Boiling hot as of it was in a microwave. The chicken dish did not stand up to the reviews. The dish tasted as if the chicken was baked and then , the sauce was added to the chicken. The meal was disappointing. Perhaps the original chef was on vacation.

The restaurant was busy with good ambience but very noisy with a large table close by. It was also very war, which made the experience quite uncomfortable. We probably waited 15-20 mins for a drink which was too long, but once goingvthe food arrived quickly. The starters a bit underwhelming but lamb tagines were decent with great flavour although needed more sauce. Overall a little disappointing compare to many reviews.

What a wonderful find in the heart of Reims. The food was absolutely delicious especially the lamb tagine. We will definitely recommend it to friends visiting.
