Everything about our meal at Le Taillevent was wonderful. The choice of menus was great -- I loved making 1 decision at the start of the meal and all was taken care of. The sommelier suggested wines by the glass for us (we aren't big drinkers and we got different menus, so a bottle wouldn't have worked) so thoughtfully -- and with a bit of choice -- we felt part of the process, but expertly guided. And the staff was super friendly, super knowledgeable and welcoming.

Excellent restaurant not far from the Champs-Elysées and the Eiffel Tower. Beautifully presented dishes made from top quality luxury ingredients. I had the ‘Instant partagé’ tasting menu and everything was delicious. The amazing langoustine course was presented in four different servings. I was even offered an extra course as a surprise from the chef. Very pleasant and elegant decor. Very friendly, attentive and professional service. The staff know their business down to the smallest detail, yet they are relaxed and easy to talk to. They are really determined to give their guests the best possible dining experience. I give this restaurant my very best recommendation.

Very elegant, the e130 lunch was mostly excellent although my sweetbreads were not great nor was my partner's monkfish. The (small) glasses of wine are uneven and too expensive. The solution is to buy one bottle of wine from a splendid list: some of these are very well priced, but get hold of the list quickly, because there is little time to process it

Informed I do not eat spicy foods and they served my dish to my husband and his spicy one to me. also, reached across my plate to put vegetables down on my right side- a total no no for a Michelin star restaurant. the food was not impressive- living on their past performances.

I was impressed deeply by 1) the elegant ambiance; 2) exquisite food, I ordered a three courses lunch special, however I counted, I tasted about 8 courses, and every single course gave me surprise. The food, the tastes, the presentations were beyond my expectations. My most memorable course was the rich and delicious foie gras, I never had anything like that. 3) the services were outstanding, I had about four or five different servers served me: drink, wine, ordering and delivering. I felt that I was treated like a loyalty. I visited Le Taillevent 2002 with my son when touring Europe, my son was 5 years old, he commented he had the best mashed potatoes ever, after 22 years, he still talked about it. After Covid, summer of 2022, when I came to Paris, I wanted to book two seats, I wasn’t able to, because in August Le Taillevent was closed. I was a little disappointed. The serious stress caused by US presidential election left a deep wound in my heart, but the food cured me. Thanks!

This is my husband's and my 2nd visit to Taillevent. Everything was superb--the staff, the ambiance, the wine pairings, and of course the divine meal. We can't wait for our next trip to Paris and another wonderful dinner at Taillevent. Cheers--Amy
