10/10This was not my first visit to Tontons and will not be my last. The quality and wide selection of tartares are fantastic. I brought some family members who were not confident about whether they would like raw meat, so they got the tartares poêlés which were delicious and more like rare burgers. My top recommendation remains the tartare d'écrevisses-- a shrimp tartare which is almost like ceviche. And of course, the banana dessert tartare is delicious. Definitely worth the visit!

8/10We visited as a party of four and service was fast. The atmosphere was intimate, informal, local, very non-touristy. The wide selection of tartares was impressive. My personal favorite was the ecrevisses (small shrimps) with honey and wasabi. As a dessert, the banana and chocolate "tartare" was delicious.

10/10Delicious food, friendly and family-style ambiance. I've been to this restaurant 4 times and had different dishes and different servers each time - I've never been disappointed! Highly recommend for tartare lovers, but they have great options for steak haché and fish as well in case raw red meat isn't your thing.
