Maybe everyone's ratings were so high that we had high expectations. It just wasn't for us. Many of the dishes had slightly unusual and strong flavors, and Japanese seasonings were not utilized to their full potential.

My partner and I stopped here for our last evening in the city. The service was quick and professional. They explained all our food and everything came out unique and surprisingly delicious. Presentation was artistic and the actual establishment was impeccable and trendy. I enjoyed the freshness of ingredients and how they were able to intertwine all the flavors. I would definitely come again when we are in Paris.

Chenapan is a small, cozy restaurant, that is extremely warm and welcoming. The food, and service were excellent, and our experience there was one of the best during our three-week trip to France. We can’t wait to return to Chenapan the next time we are in Paris!

Had a lovely time at the restaurant. All the food was delicious. It seemed to feature a particular flavor profile throughout each of the courses, but each course was unique and creative enough to not become redundant. The restaurant is a bit small, but that's part of its charm. We will happily return in the near future. *Review based on comparing this restaurant to other restaurants of a similar price point and category.

The team in the kitchen was hugely successful in combining the flavours of spice, acid, and dashi-stock in a careful and subtle manner. Served wonderfully. Wines are also good. A gem in Town.
