It was a lovely restaurant with an excellent atmosphere. The waiter was extremely attentive. The food was excellent. I wish they had more chicken options - but what I was able to order (I don't eat beef or pork) was fantastic. I went out with friends, and they also raved about their meals. At the end, the waiter brought us out a small, complimentary bottle of some kind of excellent tasting apricot liqueur. This was the best place we ate in Madrid. Highly recommend. **Note there are 2 restaurants located close to each other. There is an open-air on in Plaza Mayor. The one we went was just around the corner with an indoor dining area (we chose indoor so we could be in the air conditioning because of the Madrid heat). You can go to the one in Plaza Mayor, and they will show you were the other one is located if you can't find it.

We visited the restaurant hoping for a pleasant experience, but unfortunately, it felt like we were expected to leave before we had even sat down. The service was rushed, giving the impression that our presence was more of an inconvenience than a welcome. The waiter did try to make himself understood, but communication was difficult and added to the overall discomfort. The food was average at best and did not make up for the lack of hospitality. We would not return.
