9/10This was a very pleasant restaurant which I believe has a long history. We were very happy with both the food and the service. The ambience was quiet, good for conversation, old-fashioned in the good sense of that description.

Our suckling pig was fabulous. Crispy skin, tender and moist meat. We couldn’t have asked for a better dish. The bread was dried out and not good. Two of the three servers were great and the third one was horrible. I don’t know what his issue was, but I hope we never encounter him again. But like I said, the pig was great and even worth the obnoxious server.

9.5/10Food, drinks, and service were excellent. We sat outside where crowds of people were lined up for calamari sandwiches. Special shout out to Miguel our waiter.

Great restaurant, food was authentic and amazing. server was nice. This is my 2nd time in Madrid and 2nd time at this restaurant because I remembered it from my first time.

9/10Suckling pig was delicious and the complimentary grappa was a surprise and was fantastic. My husband said the cheesecake was the best he has tasted!

4/10I can’t believe that in the most touristic area of Madrid none of the waiters was speaking English. None of them was smiling, behaving like we were bothering them. The salad came and no one was giving you any salt-pepper or oil extra . The food was tasteless and as of the paella I have eaten better ones . We payed 100 euros for a salad,an octopus and the paella. I don’t mind paying a thousand euros if it’s worth it but unfortunately it was not.
