Wonderful, as always

There was a big group outside being served and the waiters were so focused on them that they completely ignored us most of the time. Also, the door to the balcony was open which created a huge wind current and we asked them a lot of times to use one of the other doors to go outside and to keep that one shut, but they also ignored our request most of the times. Additionally, the pavlova was rubbery, it was awful, we called the waiters and it seemed like they did not even care, they didn't even apologize, they just thought we were the ones being picky.

Beautiful setting and the food was amazing. Especially the crackling pork belly and the ham croquettes!

Nicely decorated place, very cozy retro atmosphere . Food was good , although it should have been served piping hot. The portions were a reasonable size and the service was excellent. Price was amazing considering the 50% coupon from ‘The Fork’. Thanks

Everything was excellent 👏👏👏

Really wanted to have a great time and it almost went well.. Genuinely not trying to place any fault as the restaurant was offering a promotion on an evening I had a layover. The staff were pleasant but not fully in tune 🎵 We showed up a few minutes before our reservation and even though we requested an indoor table ( which there were a good amount available with pretty views and nicer seating ) we were sat on an enclosed patio with plastic covering the view of the city centre I had so hoped to enjoy. The retractable roof was closed for the season but the person attending to us clarified the main terrace is upstairs and the little terraces were now inside tables for the season. No offer to move to the very empty restaurant at all. Wine was out of stock after ordering and replacement was -ok. Avoid the spider crab dish it was returned the pasta wasn’t happy today .. 90% of micro greens I removed most as they were soggy. Tartare was not a high point. Nice enough people so Ty for trying.

Such a great restaurant and dining experience. We had Mario as our waiter, and as an American traveling to Madrid, I can definitely say that his service is amazing and unlike any other place in the city. Mario was constantly checking in on us and catering to us in such an endearing and welcoming manner. From this, my party and I really were all captivated by Mario as he truly made the experience so enjoyable. As for the food, it all had a very great taste and if I’m being honest I kept wanting to order more. Go try it out and if you’re lucky maybe you’ll get Mario as your waiter :) !
