5/1079.50€ ($92.35) for the following: 6€ cover charge for 2 people 4€ for acqua naturale 19.50€ for baked scallops that were tiny, overcooked, and nearly flavorless (canestrelli gratinati carciofini di lagu...) 18€ for eggplant parmesan that was a very small lukewarm nearly flavorless square (parmgiana di melanzane) 19€ for a bland caesar salad 13€ for 2 glasses of cal. venis wine, which was pretty nice. Conclusion. DON'T eat here! Just come for a glass of wine. There are nicer canal views with much better and less expensive food. Also, although our server was nice, he never replaced the broken pepper grinder we pointed out.

Dear Guest, Thank you for your review — we’re sorry your experience didn’t meet your expectations. Just to clarify: canestrelli are not scallops but a smaller local shellfish from the Venetian lagoon, served here with curry for a delicate balance of flavor. Our eggplant parmesan follows the traditional recipe, with double-fried eggplants, and is served in a single portion. As for the prices, they reflect the average for Venice’s historic center, considering ingredient quality and our canal-side location. We do apologize for the pepper grinder — a small oversight on our part. We hope to welcome you again and offer you a more enjoyable experience. Warm regards, Roberto Pepe
