The location is perfect, in the heart of Venice on a quiet street by a small canal. The food was amazing! We both had the sea bass, which was cooked whole and perfectly filleted at the table. I can honestly say it was the best sea bass I’ve ever had. The service was impeccable and the entire experience was unforgettable. Best of all, the entire dinner (shared appetizer, two orders of sea bass, sides, wine, desserts, coffee and a digestivo of limoncello) was less than €100.

We first visited 9 years ago and was exceptional. Unfortunately now you were very rushed, the garlic bread was like a cracker, the gnocchi was more or less mash potato balls and then they try and ask you to only pay cash, we refused and paid with card. Disappointed overall, the best thing is the location, the food and service I wouldn't bother with again.

The restaurant would have been fine had it been open but "The Fork" booked us into a restaurant that is closed for redevelopment.

We made reservation through trip advisor. This place was offering 30% discount when reserved through the website. We got there in time for our reso at 7pm. The waiter asks if this is reso for 4 people. As I had also requested in the booking to be seated outside by the canal. Straight up we were refused first excuse seating for 4 people not allowed outside. There were another group of 4 ppl sitting outside when I said this to the waiter he goes we can’t let you sit outside only inside despite a table for 4 people being empty. Then he said you have two options either to cancel reservation and leave or sit outside but not get the 30% off. If you sit inside we will give you 30% discount as promised. I was furious as no where in the booking it said discount only for sitting inside. Anyhow we sat down and ordered food. Another family came and sat next table after a while they moved their table outside. I almost think these restaurant people were being racist at this point. Food wise only the baked fish I ordered was nice 3 other meals were terrible nobody was able to finish. We literally wasted our money so disappointed. Also when it came to making a payment they kept harassing for cash payment to save up card charges. Like seriously first it was cash only until I said I’ve got no cash on me. On top of that the audacity of them to charge us service charges when we received such bad service. I’m extremely disappointed and will never return.

We found this restaurant close to the square and loved our seat with a view … out of the rain! The food and atmosphere were very good for a lunch while in the go. Highly recommend it!

Food has been good (nothing special), but waiter hasn’t understood English well, which I think isn’t fine characteristic for “tourist” place (this is exactly tourist restaurant because of working hours). Atmosphere in restaurant has been ordinary, but it has been too cold inside. My overall grade is 7
