never noticed this place before in all the 4 years we have lived here. while making a birthday dinner reservation for my husband on "the fork", the app recommended Yalla (for which i am grateful). i have always loved middle-eastern cuisine so decided to give it try tonight with some family members. i made my own box with lamb skewer and brisket and salad. the rice was nicely cooked, brisket was very good as it was tasty. lamb skewer was however was very bland - i am used to the lamb cooked by Chinese Uyghurs which is always loaded with spices such as cumin, and chili peppers. so this version was very bland for me. the drinks were good and the place is nicely decorated. the italian young man who served us was very sweet and nice. pls note, if you want to sit outside, your reservation has to specify that.

We were in the neighborhood and went for for brunch, in the end, arriving just before 12:30. The food was incredible, every plate, it’s a nice ambiance, centrally located, and a fantastic value. We will be back for sure when we are in Trieste.
