The experience from start to finish was excellent. The restaurant is cozy and the server was very welcoming, personable and attentive. We had the Galician beef which was perfectly seasoned and tender. From start to finish this was an exceptional meal.

The experience was very intimate as there were few tables, only 2 staff and the food you could tell was so painstakingly prepared with so much thought going into each dish with an exciting combination of flavors. It was like going to a friend’s for dinner.

We had a 4-day visit in Madrid just up the street from Marcelle and our host/cousin raved about Marcelle and highly suggested getting a reservation. We went our first night, completely jet-lagged, on the early side, so it was just us to start. Every single thing they brought out for us was absolutely delightful. The menu changes I believe nightly and I wouldn't doubt that each night is as memorable and delicious as what we experienced. Lovely couple that owns and runs it, wonderful wine selection, and the ambiance was just perfect for what we needed to round out day one.

I am reluctant to rate Marcelle any higher for fear that we may never get a table again - and we certainly want to go back again and again! The space is quaint and cozy enough to have a conversation with the chef from your table. The food is excellent and the wine list has several bottles not typically seen in Madrid. Although it is a fixed menu, the couple who own the restaurant were flexible enough to accommodate a vegetarian who was not announced prior to seating.

A very special restaurant - small and quiet for easy conversation with very friendly and helpful service. The food was outstanding - each course was well presented and delicious. Very good value for such a memorable experience
