This was a fantastic surprise! What a gem!! Best ambiance when walking in, followed by lovely staff who welcome you like you are long-lost family! Food and wines were delicious and we especially loved sitting at the “Captain’s table” with a view of the kitchen. Farm fresh wonderful tapas and entrees. I’m so happy we found you! Thank you!

This small restaurant serves excellent quality, one of the best meals in a while. The best pulpo ever. The dishes are creative, with fine ingredients, incredibly tasty. Very friendly team. Great wines.

Wine by the glasses were not as expected (thought there were more natural wines —not just organic / vegan, but exciting producers that take a minimal intervention approach to farming and making their wines), and the food, though thoughtfully plated was not as enjoyable, due to the room temperature raw fish, and the very uncooked egg in the mushroom Dish. Pork was a good dish. Service was really great, and the look of the place was great.

Hi:) Thank you for the review. Your expérience in Marcelle : You had 2glass of wine, chose after refuse to try wines without any intervention (natural wine is big Word for wine's amateurs but it's not a way to make wines, i mean there is no label "natural wine", exist label "methode nature" but the winemaker have not obligation to work without any interventions..that why we visit celars to understand the way the winemaker works..)so you had un glass of red wine and a glass of White wine, difficult to make you happy because you realy said :" iwant a wine who taste anything" :). Fish is wild and fresh but not taking from the fridge directly bécause its taste Anything when its to cold. We take it of the fridge when we have the order, and wait 10min before send to the custumer.Then egg is cooked at 65deg for 1hour and serve whith wild porcini, the idea is to remind the bask country where we eat mushroom with a raw egg yolk. Homemade Sourdaught bread, gluten free bread, amuse-bouche, selecion of olive oil 40€/p

Great little restaurant! We had a tasting menu, and it was all we expected it to be. It was fun to watch the staff work, too. We will definitely come back again when we are in Madrid.

Ha sido todo un descubrimiento, restaurante de comida espectacular de autor, toda una experiencia gastronómica. El servicio es inmejorable, la calidez y amabilidad del personal es un gustazo, esta claro que hay mucha pasión y mimo detrás de este pequeño restaurante con tanto encanto. Gracias por una experiencia inolvidable. Volveremos.

We ate at Marcelle’s in our first night in Madrid this time. True, we chose it because it was close to our hotel. We had the the gazpacho, the cheese table, chipirones, ratatouille with fish and the cachena beef. All were delicious and different. The wine list was made up of wines from little know wineries in Spain, France and Portugal, only a couple of them I had heard of before. They are very affordable. We tried one bottle from Galicia and was good but not great. If I had an area of opportunity comment, it would be that it took too long between plates, so, the hunger passed. But, maybe that is the Spanish way with the tapas.

My nephew and I shared a beautiful meal he rightly described as a journey. The food is delicious but never fussy, with outstanding flavor combinations. Highly recommend.

Superb new French-Basque bistro with a perfectly-curated seasonal menu (everything is homemade, down to the sourdough for the bread) and a fantastic wine selection. I cannot recommend it enough!!
