9.5/10I am reluctant to rate Marcelle any higher for fear that we may never get a table again - and we certainly want to go back again and again! The space is quaint and cozy enough to have a conversation with the chef from your table. The food is excellent and the wine list has several bottles not typically seen in Madrid. Although it is a fixed menu, the couple who own the restaurant were flexible enough to accommodate a vegetarian who was not announced prior to seating.

10/10It was our second time going to Marcelle. The food is outstanding and the attention to detail does not go unnoticed. Everything is 5 star. From the serving dishes, to the utensils and the beautiful wine glasses. A set menu with excellent choices and a wine list to match. The chef is always smiling and the friendly efficient service was much appreciated. Would definitely recommend as a must visit. We will be back on our next trip to Madrid. In a city of outstanding restaurants, Marcelle shines. A real gem.

This was our second time eating here and it was every bit as good as it was the first time. The husband and wife couple that cook and serve the food are delightful. Everything is delicious and they use local seasonal foods. Everything is well prepared and we look forward to going back.

Intimate restaurant with thoughtful service, refined dining, and great atmosphere.! Love going here, a couple runs it. He is the creative chef, she is charming front of house. They care about your experience and it's wonderful one.

10/10Marcelle Madrid is a lovely, restaurant. The food and wine were the best we had anywhere in Spain or Portugal. The chef and server are friendly and love their profession. A very enjoyable experience. Highly recommended.

+1What a wonderful dinner we had at Marcelle on our first night in Madrid. We are big fans of small restaurants run by a couple, and this one really delivers. It feels like you are dining in the chef’s house. Excellent progression of amuse, bread course, appetizer, main and dessert. While the menu is limited (three choices per course), everything was very well executed and delicious. Fantastic value all around and a highlight of our trip! Definitely reserve ahead.

What an incredible restaurant experience from start to finish. The restaurant is amazing, the menu was incredible, brilliant choices despite the relatively small menu and very reasonably prices for the quality of the food. Alongside the menu, we got 2 lovely amuse-bouches plus delicious homemade sourdough bread. The owners run the restaurant and it’s clear to see their passion for the food and the restaurant. Would 100% recommend!
