Outside seating is always best, but the newly (January 2024) redone aquatic blu interior gives you a feeling of being in Sirmione of Catullus. Great service from the unobtrusive intuitive waiters.

I can't say enough about Mercato Hostaria. The food and atmosphere met our expectations. The bruschetta and Lasagna were amazing. The owner waited on our table. He and and his wife are so kind and welcoming. They treated us as if we were friends. You cannot go wrong choosing Mercato Hostaria!

Absolutely amazing! The best meal we had while in Rome. Great personalised service & with incredible attention to detail. Thank you for making my birthday so very special and looking after us so well. Food is incredible as well as cocktails! Next time in Rome - we will be back and absolutely recommend to everyone! Fantastic dinner on our first evening in Rome. Went there based on reviews, but upon arrival and noting the location, I was a bit nervous. It is right on the Piazza Campo de' Fiori among the tourist traps. Was even a little more alarmed when they had the menu in pictures out front. All that said, this is definitely NOT a tourist trap. The food was absolutely wonderful and the service was great. I had the Cacio e Pepe and braised beef cheeks, followed by the pistachio cheesecake and house-made grappa. My wife had the tonnarelli with mussels and the filet with truffles. We both were extremely pleased. Enzo, our host, provided outstanding service. We'll likely return for another dinner before we leave.
