I thought the tempera was excellent, not traditional but very clean and crisp. I was surprised with the chile sauce but it ended up working fine.

The restaurant's interior decor was very nice as was the outdoor seating. The service was also very good. The gyoza appetizer was delicious. The sushi was nicely presented but the taste was very disappointing. I don't think that japanese rice was used...

Very low quality fish, it took us many hours to digest, bloated belly feeling for long after the meal. Quite an unpleasant experience.

It was a chilly rainy Paris night and I was craving soup and tempura to warm up. Nagano restaurant is a tiny charming spot in the St Germain de Pres area that offers a delicious menu of traditional Japanese sushi, tempura, gyoza, soups and a few ramen dishes. The service was impeccable and the food was wonderful. If I lived here, this would be a favorite local place to come. They have take-away and delivery options also. Definitely check Nagano out.
