10/10we had sushi and sake, eventually ordered some pasta too. the food was more than excellent, certainly some of the best we had. Our waiter Domink was one of the kind, raising the experience.

A true confirmation that this place knows exactly how to surprise you every time. The quality is always outstanding, and even the fusion options — Japan Supplì, Crazy uramaki and Coração — were absolutely excellent. Warm service, sharp execution, and creativity that never feels forced. Nakai remains a gem I’m always happy to return to

10/10A charming Japanese restaurant with a Roman twist in the heart of Rome. The menu beautifully blends Japanese flavors with subtle Italian influences. Every bite feels thoughtful and balanced. A favorite Tempura Courgette flowers with cacio e pepe. The staff are warm and attentive, and the cozy, elegant setting makes it an ideal spot for both casual dinners and special occasions. A delightful fusion of East and West done right.

7/10The portion of the food was small and you may need to order three courses so as to have enough food for 1 person. The ingredients were scarce in the dish. Given the price, it was considered pricey.
