The menu is atypical and interesting, variations on traditional dishes. Scallops are rarely on the menu in Central Italy trattorias, so it was a treat to discover them here. An Antipasto of scallops with three sauces was delicious, the scallops the most tender I have ever had. My wife had tuna tartare with buratta cheese...a beautiful plate and also very good. She had a different scallop dish as her secondo...cooked three ways, and all tasty. I had a porcini lasagna...again something different and very good. And then a turbot fish millefoglie...I had to ask what that was. Turns out that instead of pastry enfolding the veggies, the fish was in layers. Tiramisu is a must in Trevisa which claims to have invented it. I find the dish usually boring, but this place had surprised me again and again, so I ordered it. And it met the test....definitely the best we had ever had and something I would order again...at least at this fine trattoria.

10/10The ambiance at this restaurant was very nice - busy but not too noisy. The staff glided around effortlessly taking care of everyone's needs without being obtrusive. But the food...wow! We ordered the steak and the suckling pig and both were superb. The aroma as the steak was brought to the table was fantastic, it was attractively presented and was cooked to perfection whilst the suckling pig was incredibly moist and tender and the portion was sizeable enough to satisfy the largest of appetites. Being unable to decide, we ordered three desserts between two of us and each was very good. We went for dinner here to celebrate our 37th wedding anniversary and were delighted with all aspects of our evening - thank you to all for making it memorable. Our only disappointment was that we did not have sufficient time for a return visit as there were plenty of further menu options we would have loved to try...maybe one day!
