it was a cozy little gem in a town that can be somewhat harsh to tourists. I'm unimpressed with Pisa overall, but I loved this place and it made me happy in a town that can be rather harsh. The first thing I loved about it was the ambiance. The exposed brick walls, the cozy fires they had burning to keep January away, the lovely group of people with a dog who were allowed in, etc. The table service was great too. I'm impressed with the chef, who came out to meet me at the end of the meal, and overall I had a lovely time.

We visited on a overnight trip to Pisa for our wedding anniversary and chose to eat here based on reviews. We had a lovely evening and all the food was fantastic. Service was great and the lady we spoke with helped explaining some of the dishes. The wine prices as per value for money were ridiculously cheap. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for Tuscan food with an innovative twist.

Nice restaurant and the staff were nice and service minded. However, the food didn’t reach up to our expectations that evening.

The food was good but the same mango coolie was used in all three dishes. We were supposed to get a 20% discount having booked online through Fork and had the a La Carte menu, but only got 10%. For some reason my credit card was not accepted even though it had been accepted previously and after. Therefore I had to pay cash.

Very lovely local restaurant serving delicious food and a wide selection of well kept wines. Excellent, friendly service.

Service was great although a little slow. Had a main course (duck) which could have used a little side dish of some sort (mainly meat and a piece of vegetable. Not vegetarian friendly as described, but made a dish work for a vegetarian.

During our recent visit, we appreciated the restaurant’s creative approach to plating its main dishes. However, the execution left something to be desired. My wife’s lamb was artfully arranged into a perfect ingot, yet the ingot was an assembly of smaller pieces and it seemed that it had been precooked and then reheated before serving, which compromised the lamb's texture and taste. Similarly, I ordered scallops that were finely chopped into a mousse; while this innovative twist was interesting, it ultimately diminished the distinct character and flavor of whole scallops. On a brighter note, the first courses and desserts caught our attention with their appealing flavors and thoughtful presentation.

Amazing - authentic Italian cuisine - spent a long time researching on where to spend our 1 night in Pisa - didn’t disappoint. Food sourced locally - menu changes every 3 days dependant on what produce can be sourced. Service brilliant wine paired with food perfectly. If looking for somewhere that is more than just a tourist spot this is the place.

During a trip with wonderful food, this meal stands out as one of the best! Fantastic dishes all around, wonderful service an exceptional dining experience!

periodical appointment. as soon as i can i have a dinner here. overall my favorite restaurant in pisa. how could i not suggest it? ( maybe on the expensive side - so not for students but it’s the best restaurant i know in pisa anyway )
