Service was OK, food as well. Nothing spectacular nor terrible. The restaurant was cold although as effort is made with 2 gas heaters to warm it. All in all a satisfactory expeience.

Excellent new salmon dish, salmão paladar. Perfectly cooked filet of salmon on mashed potatoes, with an orange/red peppercorn sauce. Both presentation and taste were superb!

I saved this restaurant for our last night because of its rating on Trip advisor. Our lady waitress was wonderful and informative. Unfortunately my salmon meal was overcooked and very dry. I mentioned it to the next waiter that we had who just laughed. Not his fault about the cooking but…! The football was on one tv and some other sport on another. Thank goodness they were muted. The others in the group had paella which they said was nice. I expected more from the reviews.

We shared a paella. It was clearly on the go for sometime as it came out very quickly, the peas and peppers were soggy, and we both had a stain on our finger nails for 24 hours after having de-headed the prawns.

Went to restaurant on the recommendation of a Portugese and Brazilian couple. We were a little confused when we drove into the parking lot because there are several establishments connected through walkways. Once we found Paladar da Guia, we were surprised to find it directly situated along the water ( beautiful sunset view). Food was delicious and service staff was friendly and extremely attentive. We rate this establishment 10 out of 10!

Sadly our table for 5, pre-booked well in advance, was not ready when we arrived….they tried seating us on a standard table for 4 with one squeezed on the end….not the best start. However, eventually they found us a larger table. Good food, good wine, good staff, great location, especially for our uk visitors.

The food, service and sea views were very nice. If you come at night, bring an extra layer if you sit outside because it can be cool. The simple menu had more than enough options to meet our desires and were reasonably priced for one but easily fed two persons. So sharing worked great for us. The food preparation was well thought, used local farms and was well seasoned. I would highly recommend a visit.

Magnificent viewpoint where you can eat something. We arrived with a reservation, they seat you outside with what that entails, it is an area above ground with magnificent views, yes, the plates full of dust and sand must be cleaned with a napkin, the portions are small but good in flavor, the service totally non-existent , you have to look for them to serve you and the prices are very expensive, even more so if you value the non-existent service.... that is, the views are impressive... I would give it a 5 as a look, as a terrible restaurant.
