10/10Amazing experience! The seafood, especially the fish, is undoubtedly some of the best in Portugal—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The stunning sea view added to the charm, making it the perfect place to enjoy a delicious meal. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Cascais!

9.5/10I've traveled by sailboat to many European port cities and have tasted fish in many excellent restaurants. Monte Mar comes out unique in the way fish is prepared. Not far from Cascais with an amazing view over the Atlantic, a friendly and professional staff, and a wide choice of fish and seafood it is definitely a "must". Access is easy, lots of parking. Best choice in the area. Enjoy!

10/10Celebrated my husband’s birthday. The staff were amazing. They food recommendations were spot on. The view was beyond anything we have ever seen. All in all we had an outstanding evening. Our host was extremely hospitable when we walked in. everything about the restaurant is well worth visiting. We had one of the best shellfish platter we have ever had highly recommend this restaurant.

9/10Charged outrageous amount for a pre dinner G&T (€16) and Portuguese Spumante (€16) glass. Should have informed us but no menu for pre dinner drinks. Only found out on bill. Food great which is a shame that they ripped us off
