8/10Deisee was really friendly and was kind all the way. The atmosfher in the basement was not so nice, but we were with a Big group.

2/10The food was not as described. Slices of Cod and sauté potatoes . What arrived was a mash up of Fish and Potatoes with no flavour. Plus raw carrots. The other dish was fried Cod and Potatoes. The fish was tasty but full of bones and skin. The potatoes were crisps. How do you eat those with a knife and fork. No one asked us if the food was okay. I had to call a member of staff over. I was more or less told “you got what you ordered “

7/10Great Portuguese food. The service is disappointing though. We waited more than an hour for our food. It seems like the waiter forgot to place our order. We asked how much longer we would have to wait and just got vague answers… You have to be extremely patient to have dinner here.

5/10The bad service made us mad before the food arrived. The waiter asked the customer to open the bottle because she couldn’t do it. The glas of wine another ordered was forgotten. And the food arrived after 1 hour

10/10Good value no nonsense food. Just the reason why you come to Lisbon. Generous portions - beware! Sit in the main dining room rather than downstairs.

10/10We just had a great experience at Peixaria do Rossio. We requested outdoor seating and arrived early to find our table already waiting for us. We got drenched in a sudden downpour on the walk to the restaurant but our table was by a heater and under a canopy that kept us dry and comfortable. The food was so delicious and the service so prompt and friendly that we mostly forgave the member of our party who insisted we walk instead of take a cab in the downpour. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared - the tuna, salmon, and especially the octopus. We would definitely eat here again if we had an opportunity.

9.5/10Had booked and was seated inside which was good as it was a windy evening, menu extensive, had various starters between us all very good, I had grilled sardines for main Husband cod both very well presented and tasty, both had dessert good choice but very large portions in all a good meal in good location, very busy would advise to book for dinner

9/10Our waiter suggested an amazing local wine from the Alentejo region. It went well with our seafood dinner we will be back. Highly recommend.
