What a treat. This restaurant is Michelin recommended but it deserves a star. We had actually made reservations for the Saturday but found ourselves in the neighbourhood on the Friday. Only problem was we were dressed very casually. They treated us with every respect and did not bat an eye. Service was knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. The soufflés were obviously amazing, but all of the non-soufflé dishes, featuring very fresh ingredients, were equally delicious. In fact, a humble side dish of green beans was actually one of the highlights! I would go back here without any second thoughts and would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants modern French cuisine focusing on soufflé,

The service was extremely slow, even by Parisian standards. One of the owner's favoured guests appeared and we were abandoned for 20 minutes between courses. As a consequence, one of the main dishes was served cold. We were then provided with a dessert that we didn't order. This happened to the next door table also. It's a shame, because the soufflés (the speciality) were delicate and tasty. However, it was expensive and we were frustrated and tired by the time we left 2.5 hours later. A restaurant is the sum of its parts - food AND service - and both fell short of the expected standard.

The large selection of sufflees made it a dinner different than all my dinners in Paris. Entree, plat, and dessert were all sufflees. There were other options. The meal was delicious!
