The food was mediocre. Some dishes were very tasty, while others were really disappointing. The service was very attentive. One thing is obvious, the food is too pricey in relation to the quality of the food.

The size of the menu - not overwhelming, good choices. The quality of the food - from starters through mains and dessert, excellent. The Sommelier's advice. The people - great service; friendly, knowledgeable, authentic. Piero deserves to be Italian.

So we decided to have lunch here and was going to make a reservation on the fork app but it wanted credit card information…so since we were a couple of blocks from the restaurant and there seemed to be available tables at all hours at around 1:15 pm, we decided to just walk to it without making the res. We get inside and I ask for a table for 2 and he asks if we have a reservation, we tell him we do not because we were very near the restaurant, he then tells us it’s fully reserved, which was an outright lie. I then make a reservation on the fork app while I am there and another staff asks if I have a reservation, which I do now, and we get a table upstairs. Why do these restaurants insist on a reservation when there are plenty of tables available? Worst yet, they lie to your face if you don’t have a reservation and tell it’s fully booked!! Besides the arrogance displayed upfront, the spaghetti bagna cauda was ok, rather unremarkable in my opinion. I had the plini dish, veal and pork ravioli with a Marsala broth. Flavorful but extremely small portion of 12 small ravioli….dish was served warm, not hot. They did serve some good focaccia with prosciutto to start. We had a bottle of Langhe Nebbiolo and a bottle of water and our bill came to 140€…not at all a good value! Michelin rated does not support outrageous prices for a rather bland dining experience! The service by Sara was good!
