Lovely staff and we had a really good meal. loved the flaming chorizo! black beans were fab. Good size portions and best ever Banoffiee. x

The waiters and waitresses were very good so was the wind selection. The food was rather bland and not very exciting but it was ok. They could make the restaurant more cozy with low lighting .

I’m a regular customer….y like space the employees and most importantly de chiken and the rest of the dish, like rice and potatoes and salad…. Everything well done!….I’m a chef and ai now appreciate the simple things!.. thanks!.Pedro nobre

It was Friday Lunch time Dead as a door nail , thank goodness for the level crossing or would have been like a Morgue Piri Piri must have been on a diet , and still could t remember the salad that was ordered Bit of a shame as heard good reports Never Mind you got to try when getting 30% discount

After being loyal customers for five years, we’ve sadly noticed a steady decline in food quality at Piri Piri d’Almancil. During our most recent visit, the meat quality was clearly below acceptable standards. It’s disappointing to see how much the restaurant has changed, and we’ve decided not to return.

This used to be our favourite restaurant which has taken a turn for the worse a couple of years ago in terms of the food. The picanha used to be excellent, now its hard and chewy. The chickens keep getting smaller. The mixed salad, which was a great side with mixed leaves, cherry tomatoes and avocado is now a bowl of iceberg lettuce with a couple of slices of tomatoe. The black bean side which was full of feijoada flavour is now bland and runny. They have obviously cut costs with their food quality at the same time as putting their prices up by 50%, so something had to give. Such a shame. Service is still solid even though their whole team was changed. We now go back on a yearly basis (not weekly as before) to see if things have improved, but sadly were disappointed once again.
