The staff and the food was amazing

Superb, a must try. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal, good wine list. We were a group of five including young children. Attentive friendly staff and a beautiful setting. Would recommend to anyone to go, you won’t be disappointed.

+1Barbacoa in Almancil is a true gem. The moment we walked in, we were greeted by a warm, elegant atmosphere — especially the stunning garden area, perfect for a relaxed yet refined evening. We sat inside though as the evening we were was on the chillier side. The steaks are exceptional: beautifully cooked, tender, and full of flavour, clearly prepared with care and top-quality ingredients. We were waited on by Igor who was friendly, attentive, and professional, and the menu offered a great range of meats, sides, and cocktails that complement the meal perfectly. It’s clear the team takes pride in every detail. Yes, it was on the pricier side, but the quality, setting, and overall experience make it absolutely worth it. Whether you’re celebrating or simply love a great steak, Barbacoa is one of the best dining experiences in the Algarve.

The chateaubriand was not baked as a whole piece but cut into slices and then placed on the grill. Which makes it very tough.

Lovely evening spent at Barbacoa. The staff were welcoming and looked after us really well. They catered for our Grandchildren with Childs menu and the steaks we had were great. Our twin Granddaughters especially enjoyed the chocolate cake dessert!

We had a really lovely meal and some very good wine. The staff were very friendly and looked after us well. Would highly recommend. Beautiful restaurant and surroundings. Definately worth a visit.

We came here with our 9 month old son and were made to feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. It is such a lovely setting, the food was delicious as was my husband’s wine, and it was the perfect way to end our holiday. We hope to return very soon!

Excellent food and service

The lamb cutlets were too salty on the 'Mediterranean' (mixed) dish . This was not necessary as there was salt supplied in a pot with the meal

Absolutely amazing! The food was great and the service was incredible. I had a special request and they made sure to tend to it. 100% will be coming back!

The gardens area is such a beautiful place to eat. It’s stunning. The staff are friendly service brilliant. The food excellent. Could not fault it at all. Just sorry we only got to go once. It was such a lovely evening.
