The food was great, as was the location. But, the service was amazing - our waitress was friendly, funny, knowledgeable and even helped me learn Portugese! She and the team there made this a very special occasion!

Fantastic service overall. Receptionist was great and attentive. Food was nice and ambience was good in general. I would say a bit dark at the beginning when I was reading the menu, but waiters realised and immediately came with another lamp and sorted the issue. I own different high end restaurants similar to this one, and I can definitely congratulate this entire team. Well done!

Very Pleasant dining room and good service. The menu is lacking any vegetables! Salad was very good. The duck lacked the port wine sauce. The port wine reduction was reduced to almost nothing so no contribution to the interesting combination.

Good food, large portions … not a lot of choice on the menu and feel it’s a bit over priced. Not comfortable on the “sofa” chair or the wooden chair … black chairs looked nicer and think they’d be nicer throughout the restaurant.

What a wonderful experience. Food was great, staff was very kind and helpful. This restaurant has one of the best desserts I’ve ever had. The profiteroles are something to die for. Besides, everyone should definitely try “O Ovo”, as a starter. It’s delicious.

This time all the items on wine list and menu were available. Food quality again was good, ditto service. Music was too loud and not suitable (in our opinion) for the style of the restaurant. We moved table away from loudspeaker, and asked for the volume to be adjusted.

Disastrous night. Service was very slow - I think understaffed. But biggest issue was that when mains arrived one was missing. So one of our guests had to wait for 15 mins for cod dish to arrive (despite being told 6 mins). When it arrived it was a huge chunk of Cod that had clearly not been cooked property and was impossible to cut through the middle (suspect it was microwaved). Sent it back. So one guest had no main - very awkward. They then exacerbated the issue by insisting we had free deserts even though we had all said no. They put a selection on the table which nobody wanted or touched. Ok they deducted some costs from bill - but completely spoil our enjoyment. Shall not return.
