We enjoyed the decor and food but the wine was not to our liking and the restaurant only serves their own brand of wine. We also thought the vibe was too sleepy but perhaps because the restaurant is fairly new. There are so many great restaurants to pick from in Rome. This one was our least favorite.

I honestly don’t know how this place justifies its prices. The restaurant was completely empty when we arrived, which in hindsight should have been a warning sign. To make things worse, several items we ordered — including dessert, wine, and starters — simply weren’t available. What was served was very basic and definitely not worth the cost. Overall, a disappointing experience from start to finish. I would avoid.

The Planisium has its own winery in the south. After a few months being open, the clients still have to find their way their. And they will come. A good setting with kind service and proper wines and good food will guarantee that.
