6.5/10We were told they were understaffed when we arrived so we couldn’t sit outside although other people were outside, when we mentioned we booked with the fork it was no longer possible to sit there. We sat inside and the food took quite a while and unfortunately wasn’t cooked medium rare as we asked, fries were also very overdone. Usually the food is good here but this time it wasn’t really good at all.

10/10I always go to this restaurant and I have a great time there. I like the ambient, the decorations, the food and the people. This time I tried the beef of the chef , burata and beef tartar. Definitely recommend it 👌

10/10A trendy and elegant restaurant. The service was friendly and nice, always asking if everything was okay. I had a reservation with 20% discount and they applied it without asking. Food was very good and tasty (especially the eggplant for appetizer). Good wine. Definitely a place to go

10/10A very cozy place, we fell in love with it from the pictures in the app, and it did not dissapoint. When hour steaks arrived they were well done, and not medium as we asked for, but the staff was incredibly quick to take care of it! And made sure we got new ones almost right away, we have zero complaints! They did very well, and we will come back when we return to Amsterdam!

10/10I went to this restaurant with the 50% off and wasn’t expecting how good the food and the staff were. We had the rib eye and the meat was so soft and good seasoned. Plus, the fries and the petit gateau were delicious. In the end, they gave us a jar with some candies (guess you can find them on supermarket) but they were equally good! If you’re thinking to go, don’t think twice! In the end, we paid 60€ with the 50% off. But there are some meals cheaper. Always try to go with the 50% off to have the best experience you can have.

10/10We went to celebrate a special occasion and were amazed by the experience! The food was excellent, well presented and very tasty. The service was attentive from start to finish, first class! Everyone was very kind and polite. The place is nice, with a charming and cozy decor. We'll certainly be back again!

8/10The waiters were friendly but not very attentive. We ordered a bottle of wine, but didn't come. No fork for one of us during the main course. Had to ask for water three times. The food was amazing though. But if not with discount, then a bit pricy.

About this restaurant
Ruim zeven jaar geleden begon ons avontuur in de Amsterdamse horeca. Eén zaak werden er twee (Bleu), drie (Black), vier (RED) en inmiddels zelfs vijf. Vijf? TROTS zijn we om je te mogen vertellen dat we hartje centrum in de Reguliersdwarsstraat nóg een Black & Blue hebben geopend. Het concept laten we lekker hetzelfde (iets met ‘never change a winning team). Dezelfde kwaliteit steaks, salades en Franse klassiekers, dezelfde gastvrijheid en dezelfde gemoedelijkheid. Uit eten alsof je thuis aanschuift.
