9/10Did I fly across the world just to come to this restaurant again? Yes I did. I went here in 2022 with my mother and we stumbled upon this restaurant and we both walked away feeling like we just had one of the best dining experiences of our lives, which mean A LOT coming from her palate. Not only did she come back a second time just to take my dad and their friends but I also felt this would be a great place to come back to and have my 30th birthday dinner with my fiancé. We flew from California to Amsterdam to come here again, and we WERE NOT DISAPPOINTED. The service is impeccable, the tasting menu is lovely, and the wine pairings are a match made in heaven. They truly uphold the title of “Senses” as they take you through their courses by dancing between interesting plate appearances to incredible smells you wouldn’t have expected. I do wish the restaurant ambiance was more elevated, the wall art and decor does not match the caliber of food being served.

9.5/10The staff seemed nice and friendly, it was not very busy at lunch but it is also a small restaurant. Food was nicely done, service was proper and quite fast. Of the entire meal I think that the madleines are what I will remember the most. Outstanding, absolutely delicious! Wine list is nice, nothing incredible, and a bit expensive but solid for a quite small restaurant. I'll suggest a visit to try at least one time!

6/10I can't say anything bad about the food. But there was a mouse running through the restaurant and nobody from the staff cared about it. And everyone in the restaurant just continued eating. Just unbelievable!

Please allow us to emphasize that we take pest control very seriously and do everything in our power to prevent such incidents. Our restaurant collaborates with Bureau De Wit, which conducts thorough hygiene inspections every four weeks and provides detailed reports. Additionally, we work with Bureau Pest Prevention, which carries out preventive measures and inspections every four weeks to minimize any risk of pest issues. These measures are not mandatory and involve significant costs for us, but we choose to implement them because we believe it is crucial to demonstrate that hygiene and health are our top priorities. Unfortunately, in a busy urban environment like Amsterdam, particularly during colder periods, it is possible for a stray mouse to enter despite our best efforts. Nonetheless, we remain vigilant and immediately step up our inspections and measures if necessary. We deeply regret this situation and appreciate you bringing it to our attention. Your feedback helps us to maintain and improve our preventive efforts. Please accept our apologies, and we hope to welcome you again in the future to demonstrate that this was an isolated incident. 5.5/10Some of the dishes were great, others were ok, a few were genuinely bad. One dish was completely unbalanced and made my tongue go numb, not in a good way.

10/10While preparing our citytrip to Amsterdam, we came across this restaurant and as it looked promising, we made a reservation for dinner (a few days before the visit). We've really enjoyed the evening, the setting, the people and of course the food and wine. We've chosen the 5-course dinner (one with and one without wine pairing) and really loved all dishes (very refined, flavors that combine well). We were also pleasantly surprised about the wine pairings. This all combined with a stylish, but not too distant service, made it a perfect evening for us. Moreover, we feel we received a lot of value for our money. Highly recommended!

9.5/10Excellent small dining room with fine dining experience. Food was presented as art with a full range of flavors and textures. Don't skip on the wine pairing, 1/2 pour is offered and it's generous.We appreciate the different types of earthware plates and bowls. It's their attention to detail that enhances the super food. It was my birthday and they made a surprise desert for us in addition to the prefix menue.
