4.5/10We were seated in an isolated area on the top floor. Although it seemed like a private space, it lacked atmosphere and warmth, feeling empty and cold. The server repeatedly mentioned that this was a side job and that she was tired, displaying sarcastic attitudes and facial expressions. Even though we spoke privately, she shouted the bill in front of our guests. She went too far by putting her arm on one of our friends and saying, “You’re like Jack next to the rich on Titanic.” She also showed disgust at someone using black pepper. Our cheerful group avoided conflict, but it was uncomfortable. The food was average, and the number of courses was too few for the price and venue, not very appetizing. Although we requested three bottles of wine for 10 people, she insisted that two were enough and we had to insist. Having visited three times before, if they struggle with a group of 10, they shouldn’t accept such bookings.

Dear guest, thank you for sharing your experience with us. We are sorry to hear that the evening did not fully meet your expectations. However, we would like to clarify a few points for the sake of transparency. Regarding the wine, we did not suggest limiting the order to only two bottles. Instead, we recommended two different types of wine – one white and one red – to accommodate the preferences of everyone in the group, with the possibility of ordering more afterwards, as you eventually did. We would also like to clarify that the original red wine suggested was changed because only two bottles were left, and since more might have been needed, we preferred to offer an alternative available in sufficient quantity. This may be where the miscommunication occurred. All courses were served without delays,our staff remained available at all times,and at the end of the meal, you also chose to leave tip. We hope to welcome you again in the future.

10/10I was fortunate enough to secure a reservation for a large party. They were very accommodating and patient as several in the group were coming from meetings and had some delays. The setting is great, the food fantastic, and the service was perfect. Next time I'm in Amsterdam, I'll make it a point to visit again and try and take in a non-work meal.

An excellent sophisticated Italian restaurant which goes from strength to strength. The 4 course fixed was very good along with the accompanying wines.

Really lovely food. Not huge portions (two courses were plenty for us who are both quite small women but if you have a bigger appetite you will need all of the courses). Small menu but beautifully done. No air conditioning so be warned if it’s a warm day and you expect it to be cold in there. Staff were lovely and cocktails were good too.

Everything from the view to the food and service was excellent. One of the better meals we had while traveling in recent memory. If I lived here and hadn’t been I’d go tomorrow. If I was traveling through I’d grab a reservation for sure. Enjoy
