10/10An absolutely outstanding experience that goes far beyond the standards of a single Michelin star. From the very first moment to the smallest detail, everything was executed at an exceptional level. The menu is a true gastronomic masterpiece: bold yet perfectly balanced combinations, top-quality ingredients, and flawless presentation. Each dish was a surprise in itself, showcasing remarkable technique, creativity, and a clear vision that unquestionably deserves more than one Michelin star. The service was impeccable — elegant, attentive, and discreet — while the refined atmosphere completed the experience perfectly. Every detail is thoughtfully designed to create a memorable evening. This was one of those rare dining experiences that genuinely make you say “wow.” In my opinion, this restaurant truly deserves more than one Michelin star and sets the bar extremely high in the world of fine dining.

6.5/10Good but no longer great We were rather humbled by the food experience. Knowing the previous kitchen and being regular Michelin-star visitors, we did not find the food concept conclusive. It idea was to built up in tastes, but the final dish, the desert was disappointing. There was one out of 7 dishes that was truly surprising in texture and taste. Good fine dining but not a starred overall experience.

5.5/10The food was creative but came in too small portions. The restaurant was overprized: for the 150 for 4-course menu plus wine, a Michelin restaurant offers up to 6 courses. The glass was filled to the minimum. Not the wisest strategy for a beginner's team.

4.5/10The presentation was nice, but the food was not good. Fine dine it is not only the presentation, most important is the food. Tasteless,

10/10The ambience and food were beyond excellent I especially liked my waiter Hicham who was attentive but not intrusive He served each course quite nicely and introduced each one with enough information to fully appreciate what was before me. Go there is you want a very fine meal

7/10The food was good and definitely tasty. An amuse geulle in between two of our 4 courses would have been preferred, rather than just bread (which was definitely tasty!). Overall the craftsmanship of the chef was of high quality. A single point of improvement would be the portion size. While the royale seemed a bit much, the sole plate seemed a bit small. This is nitpicking, obviously. The sommelier knocked it out of the park, the wine pairings were spot on and added a lot to the experience. The head waiter was ill and heard coughing around the corner throughout the evening. He also had to sneeze while serving our food once. We all went through covid, people should know better than work in a restaurant when ill. This made us uncomfortable for sure. The bald gentlemen who also waited on us was very hard to understand, it would help in the future if he would speak up more. Overall the ambience seemed a bit tense, maybe because of new ownership. We enjoyed our stay but wont return.

10/10Innovative cuisine sourced from their own farm with beautiful photographs to prove it. Service was attentive but discreet. The wine director led us through a series of wines which paired very well with our dishes. The ambience is serene. The whole experience left us floating back to our hotel.

10/10This is the second time we went to this restaurant in Amsterdam. Our luggage was delayed and we decided to have the dinner in the city town rather than waiting for the luggage in the airport. The staff is attentive and the restaurant environment is cosy. The food all come from Netherlands and the dishes are beautifully colored and prepared. They are all excellent, although the proportion is not big.

10/10From the moment we stepped in the door we wondered why Restaurant Vermeer had no stars. Every member of the team was welcoming, knowledgeable and attentive. The food was beautifully presented, tasty and creative. The wine selection was extensive. Service carried the day/evening. We’ll be back for sure.

10/10+1Vermeer offered a.exceptional dining experience for both the adventurous and more conservative people in our mixed age group from early 20’s to mid 50’s. . From the introductory crudités through to the parting treats our 5 course tasting menu offered culinary delights accompanied by attentive service. We were enticed by the evening we spent with Vermeer. Dank u wel!

10/10What a wonderful restaurant! The food was modern, innovative and tasted incredible. I had the tasting menu of six courses which was punctuated with various ‘mis en bouche’ which were all delicious too. The service could not be faulted very attentive without being over the top. I would go back in a heartbeat!
