9.5/10Very convenient since we had a busy day and the restaurant is located in our hotel. We very much enjoyed the tapas: Fig salad, assortment of cheese and quince, anchovies on toast, potatoes with two types of sauce AND almond cake for dessert. Lovely and satisfying! I love that it is completely acceptable to take ones time to enjoy and savor!! The portions were perfect and the pricing quite reasonable. Definitely give it a try.

6.5/10Menu very limited. Tapas good but tuna steak was not liked by those that had it. Very soft as if it had been cooked in oil. The room lacked atmosphere. If we’re had not been a large party it would have felt empty and impersonal. Staff were very friendly.

10/10To be honest, the service was amazing. They were taking care of us all the time and they also were very polite and nice to us. We really enjoyed the food we had, we ordered the raviolis and oh my god, the were excellent. We had a lovely dinner, thank you!

Si estás en Barcelona y buscas una mezcla de cocina de mercado de calidad con una localización inmejorable, en pleno barrio gótico y con unas vistas de primera, tu lugar es, sin lugar a dudas, el restaurante La Catedral. Situado en la parte baja del Hotel Colón, en la avenida de la catedral, es uno de los lugares más clásicos de la capital catalana.
La cocina del restaurante La Catedral se basa en la mezcla de dos conceptos. De un lado está la cocina creativa y del otro,los productos siempre frescos y de temporada. Puedes comenzar con unos tomates de “colgar” rellenos de tartar de atún y puré de aguacate o una ensalada de rúcula, queso de Idiazábal y pera con vinagreta de frutos secos. Y de segundos puedes probar un arroz meloso de espárragos trigueros con vieiras y caviar de arenque.
Su terraza, con vistas a la fachada de la Catedral de Barcelona, hacen de este restaurante uno de los lugares más emblemáticos y privilegiados de la ciudad condal. Si no quieres quedarte sin esta maravillosa experiencia, no te lo pienses más y ¡haz ya tu reserva!
