This is a cozy, lively spot. The servers were friendly enough, but quite busy. My husband and I ordered the bucatini alla amatriciana and the rigatoni alla carbonara with fresh black truffles. Between the two dishes, the rigatoni stood out, but I found it to be very salty. Several of the rigatoni were stuck together, so I wonder about how the pasta was attended to while cooking. We enjoyed our beverages, a house white wine and beer on tap. The dessert, tiramisu, was delicious! We enjoyed that part the most with espresso. Limoncello to top it off was a nice ending on the house.

I booked a table about 10 days in advance and we got a table outside. The seating outside is very unpleasant and uncomfortable, the chairs are small and uncomfortable, very crowded between the chairs, the heaters are really close and tight. In addition, the pasta was really not tasty. The staff is unpleasant, even rude.

The waitress was wonderful and the food was delicious. It came out in a timely manner. However, in my reservation, I listed that I was a solo traveler and wanted to be seated in the mix. Upon arrival, the host told me to sit in the outdoor tent that was very cold. I arrived 30 minutes early and said I could wait. He told me my reservation said outdoor. Later I looked and I was correct. My reservation did NOT say outdoor. Make sure to insist you get a table ypu want at this place. If you are a nice person like me you will be shafted outside.

The food was good but this was a very touristy location. They sat all the tourists in the very back of the restaurant and it seemed like they were just trying to turn tables over fast. If I were with this a big group or looking for a quick meal, this would be perfect. I was with my mother and it lacked the cozy, slow paced atmosphere we had hoped for.

We got tasty food. But my pasta wasn’t hot so I had to let it go to the kitchen twice before I got hot food delivered from the chef himself. It seems that there were to many guests in the restaurant and too few servants

Worst risotto we had in years. Both gamberi lemon and porcini are bad. Manager apologized and gave comp. Dessert not that great but ok. Definitely a disappointing experience

We were so looking forward to going. Great atmosphere but the pasta was too hard … the food too salty. We were very disappointed. But after a couple of glasses in fabulous Travastere it was a lovely night !
