A nice butler meet us when we arrived. He started to seat us. We asked to be seated on the edge to see the full view. He said no because those tables were for drinks. We sat down and the waiter came to ours table. He seemed to be in a bad mood. He was not polite and seemed angry. We ordered food and drinks. We got ours dinner but the waiter didn’t give us the vine we ordered. He rushed past ours table a few times, but we couldn’t stop him. We got hold of him after we finished the eating. We told him that we didn’t need the vine because we wanted to pay the bill and go. He rushed to get us the vine after that. We felt very uncomfortable. We paid and left.

The food was absolutely delicious and the service was outstanding. Gorgeous cocktails and wine too. There was a beautiful breeze and the views are great. A great experience!

The rooftop has a gorgeous view of Trastevere, the staff is very kind, and the food is delicious. No regrets of any kind. Highly recommended.

We booked for lunch on the rooftop and the booking systems here in on Google made it no indication that it would be closed during lunch. We traveled cried ways to have lunch there granted it was in the middle of a heat wave, but this is something that should’ve been apparent when we booked versus a casual. Oh sorry it’s closed because it’s too hot. How are we supposed to know that?So we had to downgrade to a much smaller menu, we had to wait a really really long time for our food and it was overpriced. The plus was the cocktails were good and there was American level air-conditioning.

The service was exceptional and the food was AMAZING. Our reservation had to be bumped up an extra hour, so they offered us complimentary prosecco upon arrival.

The view is pretty if you aren’t sitting behind the plastic drop cloth, which we were. All of the staff was very nice and attentive. That being said, we did have to ask for extra wine glasses twice. Also, I think they forgot to make one dish and then rush the make it. It was a steak dinner and was served to us rare and did not eat one bite if it. The table was almost done with their food so we gave her much of ours. At the end of the night, we all ordered more drinks and mine came out completely wrong, but at this point we were tired and ready to leave. I ordered an extra dirty martini with an olive and I got an extra dry martini with a lemon. I think you can make the best of any moment, and we still enjoyed ourselves. Would we go back? Probably not, but glad we went.

From our warm & welcoming greeting at the door by Rocco to our wonderful table, view, service and then a fabulous meal & bottle of wine it was a perfect experience! We’ll definitely be back - arrivederci Roma!!
