A hidden gem and my favourite restaurant in Venice. You are welcomed so warmly by Angela, the young and super talented owner and sommelier. Alongside the extensive list of wines, she has chosen an incredible selection of unusual natural wines by small independent producers. The menu choices are highly creative and unusual especially for Venice where you tend to get variations on the same Venetian classics. Using super fresh and local ingredients Simone the chef creates spectacular and inventive combinations. This restaurant is only 40 days old but no doubt will be a become a must visit destination!

This is simply the best place I have ever eaten in all of Venice ( and I come here often...). It is the most truly creative interpretation of Venitian cuisine: the vast majority of the good restaurants in Venice all have more or less the same menu. This place does not: every single dish has a creative twist that makes eating them a unique and truly unusual tasteful experience. It is totally unpretentious, and yet sublime. Simone is the chef and is a true culinary artist. Angela is the boss and sommelier. Her choices of wines are impeccable, each wine a revelation. This truly unique restaurant is right across from the vaporetto stop at Lido Santa Maria Elizabetta ( SME) and is definitely worth the boat ride to the Lido for dinner or brunch.
