It was raining, so we had to sit inside. The reception was somewhat unfriendly. The Osteria was empty, so we could choose one of the small tables. The Italian group that entered the restaurant after us was served before us. I had the impression that it became friendlier when I spoke Italian. The appetizers were very good, especially the raw fish. The main course was also very good. It stopped raining, and the Italian group moved outside. The tables filled up, and we felt left alone. I ordered another coffee and asked for the bill. In the end, we got a discount. Ultimately, it was a nice evening with very good food. Maybe the season has lasted too long already, and the staff is overwhelmed. We will definitely go back on our next visit to Venice.
