The food was acceptable – not exceptional, but adequate. Unfortunately, the service was disappointing. The manager was rather overbearing, and it was off-putting to see waitstaff smoking nearby while we dined. Drink refills were slow, and the tables are placed far too close together to maximise revenue, leaving no sense of privacy. Furthermore, being presented with a review card in such an abrupt manner at the end of the meal felt quite inappropriate.

We were seated right away. The waiter came to take our order before we had a chance to look at the menu. After we placed our order the food was delivered promptly. It was very ordinary if not bland. It lacked flavor. The carbonara had chunks of fat that could not be called anything else. It was not even chewable. The spaghetti my partner ordered tasted like it came from jar. We will not be returning.

The staff can speak many languages fuently The food was amazing and well served Italian music in background, Italian staff with smile I took mix fish which was delicious and well cooked, tiramisu homemade was perfect! That really great place to be at Venise !

Our party felt the previous ‘glowing’ reviews are overstated. The staff is attentive, friendly and nice but seemed to be pushing the more expensive dishes and extras. The restaurant is lovely but was very very warm inside. It’s very hard to eat when you are so warm, you are sweating. The dishes (primis and secundies) were good but nothing was stellar. The food was better than average but nothing close to the rave reviews.

Amazing location near the water with amazing food. My husband got truffle cream pasta and the demonstration table side was the highlight of our dining experience. Food was high quality and staff were friendly and attentive . Best meal we had while in Venice. Highly recommend!’

The ambiance was very nice. Servers very kind and engaging, wanted us to have a nice time and great meal. Good food but definitely not the best we have had in Italy. Also very expensive for what we got. For us, Venice is not about the food but the city itself. May or may not return as we didn’t feel it was worth what we paid. I had the steak strips with truffle cream and my husband had a veal chip with truffle cream and scallops to start.

Just an amazing restaurant , we sat inside (our choice) but still had fantastic views from our window. The menu is extensive and the quality superb. Great house wine too.
