Best food we had in Amsterdam - the satay chicken is especially delicious - amazing view over the river and the service was very good considering the waiters were crossing cycle lanes to bring over food and drinks! Would definitely visit again.

Surprisingly good. The menu is looking like nothing, with the usual suspects, no theme nor food direction, a bad wine selection, and pretty high prices. From the outside: a typical Dutch trap to avoid. Actually, the dishes are made with great care and worth every penny of the final bill. The atmosphere and services are cosy… it’s just a great place to be. A hidden gem in the ocean of restaurants with more or less the same menu board and style.

We arrived a little early for our reservation but were seated immediately at a small table inside the cozy restaurant. Unfortunately, they must have forgotten they seated us…again and again. The food was delicious and it is a great location, but the service really spoiled a nice dinner. The restaurant had customers but was not full. Staff was not unpleasant, but we had to wait to order drinks and again for food. I had to get up and find a waiter after waiting and waiting for a check. Maybe just an off night.

Amazing food, the best we tried in Netherlands. We are oyster, tataki, steak. All great. The drinks were good as well, strong and tasted good. View to á canal. Nice Walters. Big portions.

It was our first time here and we absolutely loved it. The tortellini with wild boar raghu was phenomenal and so was the steak. Nice atmosphere too. They forgot to bring our drinks in the beginning but apart from that the sevice was fast and great.
