This place was near our hotel, but we struggled to find it with the address details provided, even Google maps couldn't find it. Its only when we called the number provided did we realise the restaurant is situated inside the Radisson Blue Hotel, which is not at the address provided. Once we found the place, we were greated by a friendly waiter who seated us before providing the menu, which was basic but the food was lovely and served quickly. The main course could've been warmer but wasn't an issue. We had wine, but no wine glasses provided so had to drink from a tumbler! Over all good value for money and a pleasant experience. 😊

Regarding the wine service: in our casual trattoria setting, we intentionally use tumblers (rather than stemmed wine glasses) to reflect the relaxed, everyday style of a traditional Roman osteria or trattoria. Italy features a wonderful variety of restaurant types—from fine dining with formal glassware to informal spots where tumblers are the norm—and Taberna Romana embraces that authentic, laid-back trattoria atmosphere. Taverna Romana is fantastic! The people who work there are very friendly, and the food was fantastic. Many of their employees speak English. Here’s the thing YOU CANT MAKE A RESERVATION THERE WITH THE FORK. If you show up, they won’t have any idea. THEY DO NOT USE THE FORK. But you should definitely go because they’re wonderful!
