The food was cold. After I confronted the staff, I received a new hot plate of meat, but my side dish (potatoes) wasn't brought to me. In the end, I had hot meat but cold potatoes. I also ordered a bottle of wine, but the staff didn't refill it. They still need to improve their hospitality.

Wonderful experience. Waitresses were all attentive with a smile. We particularly loved the fact our waitress asked our 7 year old which specific pasta he wanted. Nice wine selection. A completely memorable evening. Next time we visit Rome we will return to Il Marchese. Grazie.

2/10The last thing this restaurant can have is michelin star. - The service is rude, waiters are mean. That type of atmosphere doesn’t create relaxed vibe at all. - We made a reservation through the service and we were expecting to try the mains as part of the meal. However, the only thing that was available is 4 types of pasta. And yeah, I get it – there COULD be some troubles throughout the day, everything happens. BUT instead of saying sorry for that inconvenience, we just got the rude and mean service. The host lady didn’t meet us properly, just pointed with a gesture somewhere. She didn’t even explain the situation in the beginning. The only nice thing they’ve done is letting us quit without any payment for water.

7/10Food was ok. I think you need to know the menu. Beautiful restaurant with very nice staff. I had the octopus and my wife the veal. Neither was noteworthy. We skipped pasta. Appetizer were fried green tomatoes and mozzarella—very disappointing and I can’t even remember the other one. Cheese sucked and wasn’t fresh, portion was wretched. You can go to a pizza shop or pizza place in Rome and eat better. Hell the bar next store has better food and drink at a fraction of the cost. Would never go back.

3.5/10This restaurant cannot be recommended by Michelin. The food is average but the real problem is the service. Absolutely unacceptable. Waited so long for the orders and then started getting in reversed order plus half of the orders have been forgotten by the waitress. And we weee not the only clients with the same problem. Totally disappointed.
