We chose this venue based on proximity to our holiday location and the Google rating. It turned out to be an excellent choice. The menu is quite slim, but I believe that it is better to prepare a smaller selection very well, than offer a huge/mediocre menu. Additionally, there were seasonal options on the special's board. We had two lovey starters which we shared (Supli and stuffed courgette flowers) followed by two hearty pasta dishes (Mezzamaneche alla Amatriciana & Fettuccini Ragu) accompanied with a very nice soft red wine. After a pause, to make room, we managed to indulge in a Tiramisu and a bowl of fresh fruit in mascarpone cream. Service and ambience were excellent and the price point was very good for the Milan area/location.

A nice cosy restaurant that was very inviting but where the food could have been better. Good quality service, balancing welcome with professionalism, and a relaxed atmosphere. Decent value too. However the starter (artichoke crudo) was too large a portion and under-seasoned, for the dish. And the main course (cacio e pepe) was the other way - too strong on the cacio, could have been lighter and fresher. Finally, the owner has clearly had an impressive career, but it was a bit much for ALL the decor to be about him...

Great food! Very very fair price. It is definitely worth going. Service depends on the Team of the “night”. I went twice, the first one was perfect, the second a nightmare.

Laid back, friendly and bright. Great atmosphere, loved the pasta and fillet steak in peppercorn sauce (not afraid to put real peppercorns in it when a lot of restaurants don’t). Altogether a lovely evening with my wife and daughter. Thoroughly recommended.
