Booked on the spur of the moment, best meal we had in Barcelona I'd say. Proper authentic cuisine, brilliantly done, reasonably priced. We also had a 7 year old with us and there were authentic dishes he was happy to try too

Food was excellent. Skip the sangria. One of the less tasty ones we had. The house wine is great though. The card machine at the place was broken, we were not warned before sitting down and eating. Fortunately one of us had cash. Otherwise, we would be sent on wild goose chase at 11pm to find a bancomat. Bathrooms need a good cleaning...

The dishes were delicious but I (as a tourist) didn't feel welcome by the waiter, my glass of wine and plates landed on the table with higher speed and noise than it was necessary. Seemed to be frequently visited by locals though.

we sought a restaurant that was a local hangout. we found it. friendly staff, excellent food, friendly setting. good sized portions and good value for the money. a note to tourists.... be adventurous and order the things you don't know .... the sausage and chips are great..... but the place offers do much more.

The food was delicious. Two of us shared 4 tapas plates, one egg dish, one sandwich, it was plenty for dinner. The menu had excellent english translations, which was a huge help and is not the case in every restaurant. The ambience is authentic, many locals were watching football (soccer). It took the waiter a long time to bring the check that's my only negative.

Fantastic lunch at Txirimiri today! The table in the front window so we could watch the world go by was an excellent start, and then the food came.... The marinated anchovies and the pan con tomate came out together, so we combined them - Inspired! If we hadn't ordered so much else we definitely would have ordered another round. Go here.
