Great little place with a cool vibe. Tables upstairs and a nice bar downstairs. Our waiter was very good and entertaining. He explained the menu options of Bites, Small Plates to share and entrees. It was a fun evening, perfect for our first night in Barcelona.

Carmelo served us with great attention to detail, wit, and charm. His wine recommendations for each course were excellent. We were delighted by the Bornes and the Catalan cuisine. We’ll definitely be back on our next visit to Barcelona.

Everything we ordered was delicious! We started with before dinner cocktails at the bar. Vincent made us the most fabulous drinks! Dinner at Bornes was one of the highlights of our trip to Barcelona!

One of the best Restaurant experiences in Barcelona. The food is of exceptional quality, in my mind it is at the level where they deserve one Michelin Star. They have a clear philosophy that shows in every dish, building on a foundation of local and regional recipes and locally sourced food and they develop the recipes further, playing on all the elements of a dish. I also love the variety of little dishes they offer. The wine list is excellent. Above all, the service is phantastic. A great team working well together and truly taking care of customers. We went there twice in a row and will be back soon.

The restaurant is situated off the beaten track in a maze of small streets. The restaurant breathes class and hospitality. The welcome drinks and cocktails were super. The small starter dishes were sublime and subtle. The main courses however were quite massive. The chicken was beautifully marinated, however half a chicken (and some vegetables) would suffice.
