8/10Need to be careful with the price of the fish. The restaurant charged us € 90,00 a kilo of skids (calamares). This is not expensive. It is an exploitation.

2/10The staff were not that welcoming. Completely different set up and staff from the great lunch menu, that was offered. As there was no one on the door of the restaurant, we walked in. Only to be told that we have to wait for the female manager to check us in. She said to follow her outside and rudely checked our reservation in, which could have been done at the doorway or when sat at a table. We were seated and waited for 10 minutes before someone approached us with a drinks menu. We selected a bottle of wine and immediately told, that they didn’t have it. U didn’t understand. Why was it on the menu? We eventually got a bottle that was passable. Ordered our starters and mains. The ham croquettes came out very bland, as if there was no ham in them. The black pudding offered could have served an army, again flavourless and bland. So at this point in my wife’s birthday celebration, she decided to ‘pull the pin’ and cut our losses. So we left. We could trust the chefs to cook a €120 steak correctly if they can’t manage some ham crochets.

10/10The Steak was outstanding, i highly recommend to try it with 1-2 Friends or your partner. The service was absolutely Perfect and every question we had was answered directly with much knowledge. The Ambiente was very fine. All in all 10/10, no doubt

9/10I booked 3 months ahead, but unfortunately the restaurant did not have my reservation. The restaurant was packed, but they tried to solve it and gave us the first table available. And it was worth waiting for! The bar area where we waiting was very nice, with great bites to eat. The restaurant in the back is absolutely great and the meat delicious. Will definitely return

10/10This is our first time in Barcelona. We went to This restaurant on the second night we were here and went back a 2nd time a week later because it was so good! The food, service and ambiance were exceptional and the waitstaff went out of their way to make us feel welcomed. Highly recommend it!

5/10Quality of food and the location itself are good. I must say we were quite disappointed with the ratio price/quality. We ended up paying a bill for the equivalent of a 1,080 kg steak, but in reality there was not more than 800 gr steak on the plate (including bone!). Overrated! There are way more convenient restaurants out there for the same quality!

10/10We’ve ordered the Tasting Menu for 50€. Four courses starting with a cod omelette and a nice pan fried cod. As the main dish a massive perfectly prepared steak. And the menu ended with a selection of basque cheese. The recommended wine (Pétalos 2020) was a great paring for all courses. The staff was very nice, funny and attentive.

8.5/10forgotten a little by the staff on occasions but maybe it's the fact that in Barcelona, there never seems to be much of a rush to take the order (experienced in a couple of places) staff displayed really strong knowledge and the food was quite tasty, lady who took our order really did know her stuff about wines and also got served by Portuguese guy (Pedro?) on another visit who was brilliant!

Una barra de pintxos siempre bien surtida, concurrida y efervescente, nos da la bienvenida a Sagardi, un establecimiento ubicado en pleno Born que ofrece una interesante cocina tradicional vasca, sin florituras y basada en el producto de calidad. Aunque quienes deseen sentarse a la mesa y disfrutar de una cena al estilo vasco en la que debe reinar un buen chuletón pueden reservar plaza en su comedor. O, mejor aún, en su terraza en pleno corazón del barrio del Born, en una hermosa placita que deja al descubierto el ajetreo del barrio.
Sagardi es un lugar agradable y funcional, sencillo en el mejor de los sentidos, en el que impera una filosofía que los hermanos Mikel e Iñaki López de Viñaspre tenía clara desde el principio: cocina tradicional vasca, casera, sencilla, abundante, con un muy buen producto. Esta voluntad se traduce en unos chuletones que quitan el hipo (con carnes seleccionadas personalmente en toda la Península por los hermanos Viñaspre), alubias, merluza a la donostiarra y demás cocina típica de Euskadi. Platos que conviven con unos pintxos de excepción, fresquísimos y recién hechos, y con una interesante carta de vinos que tiene en la sidra uno de sus productos estrella.
El chuletón a la brasa, que conviene degustar siempre poco hecho, es uno de los mejores de Barcelona.
