Two of the dishes were way too salty. Moreover we were a bit shocked when the desserts for the degustation menu were to be shared. Not sure what they would do if people do not like to share their dishes or if there are the clients. A bigger flan? Anyway, the dessert was the tip of the cake. The food was just disappointing

The food was of a decent quality but portions were small. The waiter was very unhelpful, he made no eye contact and did not explain the menu. I asked for sparkling water to start and said we would consider wine after looking at the menu, but he did not bring the wine list or ask us if we wanted any further drinks. I do not understand Spanish which can make it more difficult but I was willing to use a translate app. As soon as I said I could not speak Spanish what little interest he had in our table immediately evaporated (even though he did speak English). If I had been in restaurant in England I would have left. I was embarrassed to have taken my parents there, especially as it was in the Michelin guide. To be clear I do not expect staff to speak English in another country but no effort was made to communicate in any way and I would expect better from a Michelin recommended restaurant in a capital city. We felt like a burden not a valued customer.
