6/10Although some dishes were somewhat tasty, overall it wasn't that great. The vegetarian noodles were really lacking flavour. The ambience of the place could also be improved so perhaps it needs a bit of an update. The restaurant was also very cold as they had no heating on at all even though it was quite chilly outside that evening. I'm not sure I'd try this place again.

10/10We loved the food here so much that we ate here twice in one week while in Madrid. First, after being in Spain for a month we always look for non-Spanish food options. We love Spanish cuisine but also others so we like to mix things up. Over the course of the two meals we had the fresh rolls, spring rolls, pho and curry shrimp. We enjoyed them all.

4/10It’s an all you can eat sushi experience with sticky rice, mayonnaise and ketchup. The miso soup was a total disaster. The only plate that saved the meal were the shrimp « a la plancha ».

9/10The food was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. Good size portions, every bite was full of delicious flavours, extremely reasonable prices (most main dishes were around 12-15 euros). The staff was very nice. The only small negative is that they did not check in on us after we were served or to offer another drink. But they came right over when we called them over when we were finished. Will definitely return to try more dishes.

6.5/10Everything was ok but wasn’t amazing. Kinda like food court food that you get at the mall. Was good, probably might go back if I had some craving and nothing else was available. Overall a solid average but nothing to get excited about.

9.5/10Excellent service and delicious food. The waitress made great suggestions and was very helpful. The staff speak English and Spanish. We ate just after the restaurant opened at 7:30, so it was very quiet, but from the number of reservations it obviously would have a good atmosphere at more normal eating times! Recommended.

About the restaurant
Hay restaurantes que no engañan a nadie desde el nombre y este es uno de estos. En efecto, aquí se ofrece cocina vietnamita sin fusionarse con nada ni con nadie. Sabores del país asiático servidos de manera fiel a la tradición en un restaurante de decoración sencillita y con una carta cortita, pero representativa. Quizá el plato más conocido sean los nem tom, rollitos de cerdo fritos en papel de arroz que se enrollan en una hoja verde y que se acompañan de salsa de pescado. La idea es montar el rollito de manera personalizada, añadiendo brotes de soja o cilantro.
Representativa es también la sopa pho bo, hecha a partir de fideos de arroz, ternera y caldo de carne. Sorprendente es el My Xao, que incluye fideos crujientes salteados en el wok de junto con vegetales, cerdo y que se acompañan de una salsa de cacahuete. La única concesión a otras latitudes está en el corte argentino de los dados de ternera, que también se saltean al wok, junto con pimiento rojo y cebolla.
La cocina vietnamita es, a diferente de otras de Asia, mucho menos picante, así que la salsa ‘hot' se sirve aparte.
