10/10🔥 Yo Soy Guatemala isn’t just a meal—it’s a SOUL IGNITING experience! My first Guatemalan adventure detonated on my palate like a flavor volcano. From vibrant textiles & murals to the owner—a human firework of passion—this place breathes authenticity. My broken Spanish made him erupt: "¡Amigo!" he cheered, pulling me into stories like family. 🌋 The MENU? A TRIUMPH! • Pepián de Pollo: Golden stew singing with roasted spices! • Garnachas: Crispy tortillas piled with savory glory! • Carne Guisada: Beef melting like a dream on rice! Zero misses—only FIREWORK FLAVORS! 🎉 Bachata rhythms, frosty local beers (Pilsener! Gallo!), and walls shouting "Soy Guatemala"—you’re transported. That radiant owner? Pure volcanic warmth. COME FOR THE SIZZLE. STAY FOR THE SOUL. ¡Sabor auténtico! ¡Vida pura!

9/10Family run small restaurant with rustic homestyle cooking, in a cozy setting, that is as close to Guatemala that you can get in Rome (allowing for the need to substitute some ingredients thatbare unavailable here).

8/10Second visit specifically for the Cerviche. Like the first visit, it was excellent - tomatoes (lots of them) cut up, a little onion, cilantro, a generous amount of shrimp, all in a sauce that was flavored just right. Perfect! Even though they are not listed on the menu, they do have a nice selection of wines that are poured generously. The service was very kind, but due to the restaurant being very busy on the second night, a bit slow as only one person was working in the dining room. Value for money excellent, made more so as they honored the Fork discount. To be repeated!
