10/10Booked a table for a late lunch and had the executive menu, the food was fantastic and the service was excellent. This is a wonderful restaurant in a spectacular location and excellent value for money, highly recommend.

3.5/10Beautiful space, but disappointing experience. I had looked forward to dining at Zambeze for months. The restaurant decor and setup are lovely, but the welcome was lacking — the host simply pointed to a table in a nearly empty room, and we waited quite a while before receiving menus or service. The menu is limited and doesn’t allow simple side requests, such as vegetables not included with a main. On the positive side, the meal presentation was attractive, and the views are nice. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t return, especially not with a group. Better directions or signage would also help guests find the entrance more easily.

4/10I had the vegetable curry which consisted of spinach, zucchini, tomatoes with skins on and another green leafy thing swimming in a sauce. I think they took the left over old veggies and threw them in. Also had the chefs couvert which consisted of nice olives and a wedge of indifferent cheese, a samosa with mince and two fried balls of indeterminate heritage. I ate them all as I was hungry and just as well as the vegetable curry was not great. My husband had the salmon salad and the sautéed mushrooms which were nice but were picked as the rest of the menu didn't look too inviting. A beautiful setting but lacklustre food

7.5/10The area where we were sitting had these very unpleasant ceilings lights straight to our eyes and it was hard to see the people in front, not to say how annoying it is having to eat the whole meal with that light straight in your eyes. The food was good and so was the service. The best dish to us was the duck ;) strongly recommend! Shrimp Laurentina Style was also very pleasant.
