8.5/10The cocktails are great! Also, the guacamole with insects is so so good! The food itself was flavorful but they spice it too mild for my taste ( but they give an extra spicy sauce). Overall, I can totally recommend going here!

10/10This spot was a great find for an impromptu overnight layover in Lison. The food was delicious, the atmosphere and music were great, and it was reasonably priced. You should definitely try their Tommy Margarita, and their tuna tartare tacos are a must-try. Just a heads up, ordering a bunch of starters will be enough unless you're really hungry. The portions were generous and filling.

9/10Great food. The tuna tartare is amazing. Be aware that every dish is spicy and so we had to order special non-spicy food for our toddler which the restaurant accommodated (but we always prefer to share which wasn't possible).

10/10Best Mexican food, a must try when in Lisbon. Would strongly recommend listening to the waiters recommendations in terms of menu choices. And if you are a mezcal lover try their great cocktails.

10/10Waiter and us spoke in Spanish to better communicate. We had 3 apps and 1 main for 2 people and everything was delicious and of substantial quantity for a price that was better than we expected. We were only non-locals and would certainly recommend and return.

On Carnal’s menu, our head chef, Luis Ortiz, born in Mexico, combines some of Mexico’s most authentic recipes with his own personal approach and a touch of Portugal, to provide a relaxed, fun, interesting experience and, above all, to give a taste of the gastronomic and general culture of Mexico.
