An excellent meal with exceptional service. Everyone was kind and patient and the food was such a treat! Everything was beautiful and beautifully prepared with really unique combinations. And what a view! We had the 4 course tasting menu with 2 local bottles of wine and were all stuffed and very happy by the end.

The taste was not bad as one star restaurant of Michelin. However we served dishes at the hot terrasse without any air-conditioning although the view was so good. We had to wait for a long time to be served, even the clients had finished their lunch started their lunch after us. So we were too tired to eat the main dish with enjoying.

When we arrived by car I stopped right in front of the restaurant when the valet came to the car and said he would park it. After our lunch we came outside, I walked to the car, just maybe 1 or 2 meters from were I left it, the valet gave me the key and asked for money. (I thought it was free parking according to the restaurants website) when I reluctendly gave him € 5,00 he said, “ no, it’s €10,00. I did what he asked me, but I think this ready is shameless!! What is your opinion on this matter? Madam et messieur v d Heijden

The elegant terrace commands a fine view of St Paul de V and surrounding coutntryside. There were three menu options. we chose the Menu du Marche. Original pairings and flavours thoughout. To start, pan fried foie gras came in a scented almond milk mousse on a cherry tartlet. Exceptional and unusual. Then veal filet, served slightly pink, with mini croquette and gravy reduction. Again both seasoning and presentation almost perfect. We avoided the cheese plate as too robust in such hot weather, and followed instead with the red fruit pavlova. The lunch was discretly presented and the bill in line with expectation. We did not explore the wines but feel sure the sommelier would have guided us expertly.

Michelin stars are hard to get ... for a reason. And it takes much more than stellar food. My dinner at Alain Llorca exemplified how all the necessary elements must work beautifully together to achieve this honor. The food was exquisite, but add the professionalità and kindness of the entire staff, the dining room itself, the gorgeous view, the graceful rhythm of the evening .... it was a delicious concerto. Merci a tous for the splendid experience.
